Our sustainability strategy is an important part of our values and business priorities at V2X. The way we approach sustainability issues has a significant impact globally on our customers, employees, investors, and communities. We acknowledge the importance of developing a comprehensive sustainability strategy, and we take this responsibility seriously.

Environmental

V2X has always been committed to providing long-term value to our stakeholders through our sustainability initiatives. We have concerted efforts underway to further expand our initiatives to reduce environmental impact, meet regulatory and customer standards, manage risks, and protect our local communities. Our climate-related risk mitigation initiatives are tailored to minimize waste, decrease energy consumption, lower greenhouse gas emissions, and preserve natural resources. Emissions Reporting and Management 

This year, V2X engaged a third party to conduct a limited assurance verification for our Scope 2 greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions inventory for 2023. This verification effort was focused on ensuring that the Scope 2 emissions reported by V2X related to indirect emissions from electricity consumption were calculated and disclosed accurately following the standards outlined by the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency and the GHG Protocol. The verification followed the ISO 14064-3:2019 guidelines, which are internationally recognized standards for validating and verifying GHG assertions. The verification process covered the organizational boundaries for V2X Scope 2 emissions based on an operational control approach and included data from January through December 2023. The third party conducted their verification with a 5% materiality threshold, which is common practice under ISO 140624.3 standards, indicating that any discrepancies below this threshold would not significantly affect the overall results.

For 2023, the verified Scope 2 emissions from electricity consumption amounted to 10,529.66 MT of CO_2e. This disclosure is critical for V2X as it demonstrates transparency in environmental reporting, especially concerning GHG emissions. The verification by an independent third-party organization provides credibility and assurance to stakeholders that the reported emissions data is accurate and reliable.
